hello hello HELLO and welcome to the official town website of THE YARD!!! yes THE yard. the one and only!!1 we are a small happy island town where everybodys last name is yard (yes even you, if you stay long enough hehehe)

we got SUN we got FUN we got a PLAYGROUND with TWO (2) slides and a RESTAURANT that serves PIZZA EVERY PIZZA DAY!!!

so kick off your shoes (we have no shoe stores, do not ask market for shoes) and stay a WHILE!!!

"THE RENT" by BOB YARD is out now on the town radio!!! the council has voted it SONG OF THE SEASON (unanimous) (there was one vote) (the vote was the mayor)

it is the mayors first single and his only single and his best single. request it at the general store!! market will play it for you if you buy sauce!!

ABOUT THE OTHER SONGS ON THE RADIO

sometimes the town radio plays songs that nobody sent in and nobody owns and nobody can find the source of. the council has confirmed these are UNLICENSED BROADCASTS and that you should not worry about them and should definitely not write down the words.

most of us just hear the instrumentals anyway!! nice beats!! goober (our page manager) has transcribed several of them for the archive and his transcripts just say [instrumental] over and over. goober has perfect hearing. goober is fine.

did you know the yard has PLENTY of totally empty houses just waiting for cool cats like YOU?? our descendants all left for fancy universities so now the houses are SUPER CHEAP and taxes are almost non-existant!!!
